Sandra Maier, the current president of the Root Cellar – Sacramento Genealogical Society will be our speaker. She and her husband are both Sacramento natives but can trace their families back to immigrants that came to the U.S. from England in the 1640’s and Germany in 1853.

For this talk she will be sharing about Family Tree Maker, the genealogy software program from MacKiev. This easy to use tool has been around since 1995 and offers may useful features to help you organize and document your research. This will not be a technical talk about computers but practical information on how this program can make things easier for you.
